碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 體育學系體育教學碩士學位班 === 104 === The purpose of this study is to explore the elementary teachers′ Participation motivations and constrains in recreational sports in Taipei. A self –developed questionnaire was administered to 385 teachers. Based on SPSS 20.0 Package software, the completed data was analyzed by t-tests, and Analysis of Variance and correlation. The results indicated that: 1. The arranged order of the aspects of participation motivations in the recreational sports is as follows：“health fitness”, “psychological need”, “achievement need” ,“social need” and “Intellectual reason”. And the aspects of constrains is as follows: “environment and economy factors”, “family and work factors”, “space and equipment factors” and “personal factors”. 2. For motivation, age and family all have significant influences on Taipei elementary school teachers’ motivation for recreational sport participation. And for constrain, age and family all have significant influences on Taipei elementary school teachers’ constrain for recreational sport participation. 3. In this study ,there is a low and negative correlation between Participation motivations and constrains in recreational Sports from elementary teachers in Taipei.
