Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 心理與諮商學系心理與諮商教學碩士學位班 === 104 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between frustration, coping strategies, job satisfaction and the hope of elementary school teachers in New Taipei City. The questionnaire was administered to a sample consisting of 601 elementary school teachers in New Taipei City. A total of 546 valid responses were obtained. Data obtained from the survey are analyzed by using descriptive analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment and structural equation modeling (SEM).
The major findings of this research are as follows:
1. Elementary school teachers in New Taipei City perceived a lower-intermediate level of the frustration.
2. Elementary school teachers in New Taipei City perceived an upper-intermediate level of the coping strategies.
3. Elementary school teachers in New Taipei City perceived an upper-intermediate level of the job satisfaction.
4. Elementary school teachers in New Taipei City perceived an upper-intermediate level of the hope.
5. The frustration of elementary school teachers in New Taipei City were significant difference due to the background variables, such as the positions.
6. The coping strategies of elementary school teachers in New Taipei City were significant difference due to the background variables, such as the gender, age, service seniorities, and positions.
7. The job satisfaction of elementary school teachers in New Taipei City were significant difference due to the background variables, such as the positions.
8. The hope of elementary school teachers in New Taipei City were significant difference due to the background variables, such as the gender and education levels.
9. Frustration could negatively predict the coping strategies and job satisfaction.
10. Hope could negatively predict the frustration.
11. Hope could positively predict the coping strategies and job satisfaction.
According to the findings and conclusions, the study proposed some suggestions for elementary school teachers, school administrative offices and future researches.
