The Research on Construction of the Safety Indicators for Elementary School Students' Field Trips ---A Case Study of Taipei Municipal Xingan Elementary School

碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 歷史與地理學系 === 104 === The research aims to construct the field trip safety indicators, and the goal is to realize the current situation and importance of this field trip. It researched not only the weighting factors which influences the field trip, but also analyzed the importance for building up a safety indicator checklist. The research progressed through collecting the literatures to find out the possible reasons which might affect the safety of the field trips. Besides, a team of the experts and teachers were invited to collaborate to design a survey to collect the ideas of the safety indicators. Then, the draft of the questionnaires was corrected and invented the evaluation method. At last, the experts checked the content and accomplished the checklist. The study is not only set up a simple field trip checklist for elementary schools, but also a necessary checklist before the field trip set off. It found out that top four significant factors for field trip are the safety of the people, the safety of the environment, the safety of the traffic and the safety of the food and beverage. Among the factors, the safety of the traffic was the most crucial part and the weighting factor indicators revealed that the importance of the road driving is ahead of other factors. The research expects to offer some suggestions as follows: Firstly, teachers should understand that weather the field trip is successful or not actually depends on the control of the safety, the preparation, the know-how, the agreements of the parents and the numbers of the people traveling along. Secondly, the school administrations could prepare the work for more site investigation before trips, more manpower supports and rent legal and confident tour buses. Thirdly, the government ought to offer the lists of the excellent and safe sites for field trips, regularly promotes and examines the vehicles of the rented company, the food and beverage safety of the restaurants around the site nearby. The research expects to build a set of safety regulations to assist the colleagues to implement the field trip, as well as the references for another school to reinforce their safety issues of the field trips.
