The vision is to achieve harmony between people and nature society. Spirit Mountain is in use to promote ecologically sustainable industry. Forest Service from 2009 onwards, in Jinshan eight tobacco settlement, Jilin Gongliao village, harbor Fongbin tribe, promote the important agricultural wetland ecological restoration. Bred water terraces habitat rich in biodiversity and to have a unique landscape, and the function of soil and water conservation, groundwater conservation, disaster prevention, food production. The New Taipei territory had a large area of water terraced landscape, today water terraces days waste and land-based farming, water terraces ecological habitat features growing recession, the mission of conservation and restoration is imperative.
In the fallow system, socio-economic impact of structural changes in the traditional water terraces related industries gradually disappear. In order to understand how wing continued operation of ecological landscape water terraces, this study adopted case studies, analysis and archive records participant observation, depth interviews and other ways to collect data through the file, from a biodiversity point of view, to explore new Taipei City water terraces restoration and sustainable agriculture in transition business model. Acrroding to web search, database indexing and documenta reading, etc., collect and aggregat water terraces of relevant research data and interviews with residents of New Taipei Shimen, Jinshan, Sanzhi, Gongliao terraces distribution of water, accompany the group, the competent authority and other equity relationship on behalf of 23 members made transcript record of the business district status and experience.
The study results summarized: water terraces sustainable business model in New Taipei City, based on the conservation of biological diversity, and based on the life of farmers.And farmers should have the integration of traditional and technological initiatives in Satoyama Initiative thinking.Used innovative、 features marketing, and used a friendly farming, to build brand communities of agricultural products, the integration of the community in various industries.It needed not only the general maintenance of market access in production and marketing platform, but also a community of foreign sales platform: such as small farmers markets and shareholder groups.In order to increase the added value of agricultural products and farmers' income, they should integrate environment education and eco-tourism, and adopt import enterprise practices.Finally, there was a policy to support cultural landscape, research and development empowerment, and ecological compensation policy.
