Summary:碩士 === 台南應用科技大學 === 生活服務產業系生活應用科學碩士班 === 104 === The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship among High school students’ attachment, pregnancy valuation and pregnancy Intention. The study adopted the investigation method which had been conducted on sample of 721 students from senior and vocational high schools in Taiwan. The instruments used in this study included: The Inventory of Parents Peer Attachment (IPPA) ,Children valuation and fertility intention questionnaire. Data were analyzed by Mean Standard Deviation,T-test,one-way ANOVA, Pearson Product-Moment Correlation. The main findings were as follows: 1.Result shows a high ratio the high school students would like to have two children in the future, and have no gender preference for giving birth-boys and girls are both good. 2.To high school students, the main reasons for having children are “Power and influence, primary group ties and affection, security in old age”. 3.“Responsibility over children’s education” is the major consideration for high school students to think of costs of having children. 4.Different genders and primary caregivers indicate significant differences on Children valuation. 5.There is a close relationship between “number of children in the future” and “values of children ” 6.It has significant correlation between High school student’s attachment and pregnancy valuation. Finally, based on the findings, suggestions for guidance, parenting education program and future research were provided.
