Summary:碩士 === 大同大學 === 事業經營學系(所) === 104 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the motivation and satisfaction rate of industry-academy cooperation within Taiwanese higher education institutions. Through measuring academics’ knowledge, cooperative motivations and understandings regarding cooperative difficulties within higher education institutions, the effect of industry-academy cooperation outcomes were being obtained.   Through the on-line surveying of 250 academics within higher education institutions, 205 copies were collected. Through statistical analysis via SPSS12.0, and analytical techniques of descriptive statistics, analysis of correlation, regression analysis, hypotheses testing, the relation between motivation and satisfaction of industry-academy cooperation within Taiwanese higher education institutions were obtained, while relevant policy and practical recommendations were being made.   The conclusions are as the following: Academics’ depth of knowledge regarding industry-academy cooperation, understanding of the potential difficulties during cooperation, and the official legislations and governmental policies regarding the scheme positively correlates to their cooperation satisfaction rate. Academics’ participation motivation regarding industry-academy cooperation positively correlates to their cooperation satisfaction rate. Difference on the motivation and satisfaction of participating in industry-academy cooperation schemes is insignificant between academics of public and private universities. Difference on the motivation to participate in industry-academy cooperation scheme is insignificant between academics of normal universities and of technical universities. However, the satisfaction rate of participating in such scheme is significant.
