Description
Summary:碩士 === 大同大學 === 光電工程研究所 === 104 === In this study, we use the nano carbon materials which possess the high surface area to combine with the nickel oxide which has the pseudo-capacitance effect to improve the characteristics of super capacitor. We hope to increase the specific capacitance of the nickel oxide/ nano carbon composite material electrode. Firstly, we use the electrophoretic deposition to fabricate the electrode of the electrochemical capactitor. Through the X-ray diffraction measurement, we find the peak of the nickel oxide indicating that we have successfully prepared the nickel oxide. Most of the nickel oxide exhibits nano structure when it was deposited on the surface of the nano carbon material from the image of the scanning electron microscope. The maximal specific capacitance of the nickel oxide prepared by the electrophoretic deposition/ carbon nanowall composite materials obtained by electrochemaical CV measurement and charge-discharge test were about 642 and 629 Fg-1, respectively. The maximal specific capacitance of the nickel oxide prepared by the RF sputtering/carbon nanowall composite materials obtained by electro-chemical CV measurement and charge-discharge test were about 772 and 790 Fg-1, respectively. The maximal specific capacitance of the nickel oxide prepared by the eletrophoretic deposition/ carbon nanotube composite materials obtained by electro-chemical CV measurement and charge-discharge test were about 398 and 443 Fg-1 respectively. The resules show that the enhancemaent of the specific capacitance by the carbon nanowalls is superior to that by the carbon nanotubes, which maybe attribute to the robust structure of the carbon nanowalls; meanwhich, the nickel oxide coated thereon shows better result.
