Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北藝術大學 === 藝術跨域研究所 === 104 === My home in Zhongxing Village is my universe in the childhood. It was my starting point of the world, my container of memory, and my space for learning social relationship earlier. Following the change of my life while I grew up then left home, I look back and find out that my psychological development is not only influenced by rich meaning and emotional relationship between me and my family members, but also including those important and closed connection from my childhood substance environment. As I think people in their whole lives, working hard to achieve their own complete status. Home is a starting point, through the understanding of my home is a better understanding of myself, my own statement, and it generates links with people. Therefore, “home” has also become the issues about who I am, where I came from and where I would to go in respect of collective identity…..and so on. Whether the study of home or taking the family as a creative subject is becoming to explore myself and people around me, it is in the flow of time in the presence of self and community awareness and feelings. The thesis is based on Gaston Bachelard’ s work "The Poetics of Space" analyzed the space meaning of homes, I tried to move and fix the philosophical concept of “existence” to reality and localization. I will start from the link between the space of homes and the mind, as well as exploring a historical housing substance, and then I try to discuss the concept of “family as a history of ideology”, how it effects with the country and individuals. The work construction is a chronology formula of three works presented from "Delay and Pit", "The Red Bloc 2014-1949", and "Sun Yat-sen Freeway." It compiled the process from self-criticism to critical artistic practicing, and “how to design a subjectivity narrative" is the goal of my creation in recent years.
