Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北藝術大學 === 劇場藝術創作研究所表演組 === 104 === In his graduation production K24, presented in the final year of his MFA Acting Program at Taipei National University of the Arts, Po-Fu Wu performs multiple characters throughout the piece. This report discusses four of these characters from K24. The purpose is to demonstrate how an actor’s relentless training and rehearsing leads to effortless acting, as perceived by the audience. The report begins by discussing Po-Fu Wu’s training history, how he got into K24 and the acting techniques used to prepare for the different acting roles. Next it addresses the problems of fear and anxiety that arise while performing the various characters on stage. These obstacles impede the actor’s flow and are what the actor faces in order to achieve effortless performance.
