Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北藝術大學 === 美術學系碩士在職專班 === 104 === The main topic of my work concerns issues about 「purify/ Pariṇāmanā」Furthermore, my work is stemmed from things I concerned and life experiences I have in the past twenty years, such as Dowsing , prayers, chalk drawing, sacred geometry, form drawing …etc., and also associated with the concerning of purification for the globe pollutions. I integrated all of them into my creations. I divided my daily prayers into images of the four elements, which are earth, wind, water and fire, as well as the patterns with blessings. I then present all those images and patterns by drawing them on the blackboard. I also utilize the form of prayer as the main scene of my work. Hopefully, I am able to create a viewing formality for viewers, which can lead the viewers to lay themselves into the field of prayers. In order to form my work, I thought of concretizing the non-form blessings into concrete form. By searching and exploring various images, I discovered a lot and what I discovered did surprising me a lot. I believe that is a gift from heaven. Moreover, by viewing my own work, I am able to inspect the development of individual consciousness, as well as things I have learned in the past, and to be aware of how those things affected my inherent value, and changed my life. Although this is only personal creation, I hope that my creation could present my deepest blessings to the surroundings we are in, meanwhile, to have the viewers to appreciate the environment and what we have. By the most profound and genuine blessings from people, we can make a major difference to the environment, to the people, and to the mother earth. In my thesis, there are two main reasons for using simple words to present all of the chapters, which is the word itself originally comprised or implied an extensive meaning, the other is the correlation between titles of each chapters.
