This is a necessity to get a stronger country image in international scenery to improve recognition to make culture promotions which are important issues for a modern diplomacy, where national identity is an essential part to project in external. The present job has a general goal to expose the importance that Cultural Diplomacy has in a bilateral relationship between Nicaragua and Taiwan in the period 2010-2015. For that reason, it has been divided by four specific goals: To know about history backgrounds in the relationship between Nicaragua and Taiwan; To identify some characteristics of Taiwan and Nicaragua´s cultural managements in their foreign politics; To highlight cultural similar and differences to find common factors to develop; To apply the culture as an essential factor to be stronger in bilateral ties. The methodology used is a qualitative character to combine three methodology tools: hermeneutics which consists in analyzing documents, bibliographical sources and electronics sources; and individual interview through to apply a guide questions and group interview through the focus group to identify a knowledge level about Taiwanese culture and its influences in Nicaraguan People. As result, we can confirm that cultural diplomacy is a fundamental part of the public diplomacy. It is a subtle way to promote mutual knowledge, which include the management of fragile topics in the foreign stage because it overcomes many tasks of strict way of culture and arts. The culture and history they are closely linked, to define a national identity. The cultural diplomacy goals are a long-term and depend to priorities defines.
