碩士 === 淡江大學 === 中國文學系碩士在職專班 === 104 === This study used the profile of collection books, writers background and the contexts of Wai Ji Categories on the documents which are Wai Ji Categories in Si Ku Quan Shu：Historical to reveal the writing purpose, the context and the research worth to the present academia. The research method is mainly to focus on the seventeen boos, which are Wai Ji Categories in Si Ku Quan Shu：Historical, with historical records of every dynasty, research books, papers and periodical relevant to Wai Ji to ascertain that the substance and the research purpose which this study need. This paper comprises five chapters, including Ch1: Introduction, Ch2: The Profile of Collections of Wai Ji on Dynasties in Chinese History, Ch3: The Profile of Collections of Wai Ji in Si Ku Quan Shu：Historical and Ch5: Conclusion.
