This study used a questionnaire survey method, based on which a total of 1,020 copies of a self-designed questionnaire, "The teaching effectiveness of All-out Defense Education and learning satisfaction for students in Taipei Municipal general and vocational schools survey questionnaire," were sent out by stratified sampling. A total of 800 questionnaires were returned, and the valid recovery rate was 91.9%. Based on the descriptive statistics, One Samples t Test, Independent Samples t Test, and one-way ANOVA, the conclusions were drawn as follows: 1. Students’ perceptions of teaching effectiveness of All-out Defense Education in Taipei Municipal General and Vocational schools in overall and various aspects were all above average. The best rating was “All-out Defense,” followed by “Defense Mobilization,” “Defense Technology,” “Defense Policies,” and “International Situations.” 2. The learning satisfaction of All-out Defense Education for the students in overall and various aspects was all above average. The best rating was “Learning results,” followed by “Learning environment” and “Curriculum materials.” 3. There were significant differences in the perceptions of students towards the teaching effectiveness of All-out Defense Education as a result of “gender.” In such course themes as “International Situations,” “Defense Policies,” and “Defense Technology,” the perceptions of male students towards teaching effectiveness were remarkably higher than those of female students. 4. In the “learning results” aspect of learning satisfaction, “Defense Mobilization” focus was remarkably higher than "Defense Policies" focus. 6.
