Generally, there are the ineffective ways regarding to development of BIM models cause time-consuming problems because of repetitive actions. Recently, visual programming tools is popular for the BIM applications in practice. Furthermore, Dynamo is one of effective visual programming tools for BIM programming to improve those problems, the study utilizes visual programming language (VPL) to program the system and enhance the automatic BIM models development using visual programming tools. Integrated with Dynamo, this study develops the system and apply two case studies (automatic scaffold program and automatic parking lot number program) to reduce manual operations and BIM models work errors. Finally, this study identifies the benefits and limitations based on the case studies. Furthermore, conclusion and suggestion are summarized for further development and applications.
