This thesis attempts to investigate the hypothesis that a business intelligence system can generate a sense of threat in individuals and impact their willingness to use them, thereby limiting their intended benefits. The company has faced the issue to select which BI system will be. There are many requirements of prediction for top managers and analytics report for middle managers. IT tried to fulfill their needs, unfortunately user still unsatisfied. There are BI challenges in following. 1. BI tool complexity: Steep learning curves and complex data models beyond the understanding of the business can hinder BI adoption. 2. User Accessibility: A lack of self-serve models combined with difficulty in using existing systems. 3. Information Fragmentation: Information is locked away in application and different data sources. 4. Flexibility to respond/change: Business needs change rapidly so, since technology cannot keep up with the speed of thought. How to build up “Customer-oriented Business Intelligence System evaluation and implementation” is very critical program for this compay. Therefore they built up a cross-region team to survey and evaluate. The planning is as: • To estimate BI Strategy / Mission • A variety of sources of company knowledge to determine • To be confirm required related information • Current/Future state assessment • Standardize / Dictionary • Modelize According to POC verification we can find TAM is arguably the most widely used and discussed model dealing with technology acceptance and predicating user behavior.
