The striving of the internet leads to the booming of global knowledge. The competitions faced by enterprise/ company are very severe in the technology industry, the schedule of product development is getting shorter and shorter. It is for sure to phase in Concurrent Engineering and DFMEA/FMEA (Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis/ Failure Mode Effects Analysis) at the stage of design start to reduce troubles and risks. However, design itself is sort of intangible knowledge and expertise. Without integrating in experienced professional engineering people, the managers won&;#39;t be able to coordinate his management with industry know-hows well. A good concept is only theory on paper but also needs to be verified. From ME&;#39;s point of view, the author trys to investigate the case of the server on serial system of C company in this thesis. The project applied Failure Mode Effects Analysis in the integration of Concurrent Engineering to identify the improvement of failure case, and would create the design rules /guides of Serial Systems to achieve the best schedule, quality, and cost. The study employs the IP project (internal project ) in C company (Original Design Manufacturer company, ODM) to study, analyze and simlate Failure Mode Effects Analysis of Applying Concurrent Engineering on Serial Systems, and compared different before and after and improved them. Also, we tracked all the problem, and put them down to create the database for management. The projects implementing Concurrent Engineering on Serial Systems will reduce the product development cycle, cost, and design change, and make the customers satisfied.
