First, using linear hall sensor replace digital hall sensor to improve the low resolution of position, because the same volume so less the problem of resettlement; In additional proposing position sensorless technology to assist the digital hall sensor that to improve resolution of rotor position, especially when the sensing element is damaged and can’t sense effective position, through this technology make the motor smoothly decelerate to standstill that can avoid stoping suddenly that in order to reducing the security problem of rider. Finally, use the Matlab software to build the environment of speed loop vector control with position observer, and a DSP TMS320F28035-based motor drive is built to verify the effectiveness of the proposed methods on PMSM for electric assisted bicycle.
