Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 電子工程系研究所 === 104 === The Grain is the major food for human from ancient times, including the rice, wheat, corn, and other crops. As social and economic development, the grain quality and safety have become increasingly important. Modern method to screen the grain level is by the camera imaging system to filter out the characteristics of the grain, into visual inspection (shape, fragmentation, germination) and spot detection (mildew, immature, opaque). Therefore, this study is based on the 4MP (4 MegaPixels) high-performance CCD camera imaging system. Our system is to measured MTF and TVL to evaluate its resolution power, which is used in the grain visual inspection. Moreover, we measured SNR to evaluate the camera precision, which is be used in the grain spot detection. Finally, our system can apply MTF, TVL, and SNR indicators to evaluate the image quality score. The higher index score indicates that the screening grain level will be more precise. Here the experimental computing image quality score, the overall score of the 4MP CCD camera is 251.76, the overall score of the 2MP CCD camera is 162.31, and the overall score 5MP CMOS camera is 155.21. The experiment proved that the 4MP CCD camera compared with 5MP CMOS camera to improve 38.35 %. Estimatively, we will prove the 4MP CCD camera that best meets the requirements of the current conditions for the screening grain level and improves its classification after the completion of this study.
