Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 有機高分子研究所 === 104 === This thesis research for the design of a new synthetic route to synthesized the two-dimensional conjugated polythiophene, the monomer molecular structure can control the direction of the polymerization by steric hindrance, therefore we can synthesized a regioregular two-dimensional conjugated polymer.
We designed a different synthetic route and successfully synthesized a regioregular two-dimensional conjugated polymer by using Grignard reagent to carry out polymerization, and using Soxhlet extraction to purified the polymer. The properties of regioregular two-dimensional conjugated polymer were characterized by UV-vis absorption spectrometer, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, X-ray diffractometer, photoelectron spectrometer (AC-2), Gel permeation chromatography and cyclic voltammetry. Experimental results show that regioregular two-dimensional conjugated polymer enhanced polymer chain interaction for a good polymer chain stacking cause by there are rules of the arrangement between the polymer chain.
It will improve the crystallization and enhance the absorption to get a higher Jsc, these results help to improve the power conversion efficiency to organic polymer solar cell, however, the HOMO energy level also decrease with the same reason, we anticipated that can increasing the Voc. On the other hand, The X-ray diffractometer show the apparent peak in the spectrum, not only in 2˚ ~ 4˚ alkyl chain orientation (lamellar spacing) has obvious crystallization peak but also at 20˚ ~ 30˚ aromatic ring orientation (π-πstacking) has a crystallization peak, while polymer increasing the degree of crystallinity, this will help to improve charge conductivity.
With the results of experiments and experience, we believed that can improve the application of regioregular two-dimensional conjugated polymer in polymer solar cell.
