Influenced by 2008 worldwide financial crisis, traditional press manufacturing industry in Taiwan faced tougher conditions than ever. Therefore, finding new production opportunities and reforming becomes an urgent and crucial issue. The topic of this research is to find out the key factors of how a press manufacturing corporation to be successfully reforming, from the viewpoint of human resource strategy. The purpose of this study is to analyze pivotal factors of how a conventional enterprise transit successfully via human resource strategies. An implementation --A Stamping Company in Taiwan-- is subjected for several depth interviews to extract the research results. The implementation results demonstrate as below. 1.Monitoring industry trends, an enterprise can apply first mover strategy by developing company foundation or leveraging cutting-age technology. 2.An enterprise need to apply human resource strategy to expand employees’ abilities and avoiding running risk. 3.Strategic alliance can be leveraged in the current industry situation of The bigger the stronger. 4.First mover strategy is advantaged in the conventional Industry.
