Summary:碩士 === 東海大學 === 高階經營管理碩士在職專班 === 104 === The dissertation aims to explore the changes of the business model in the interior design industry in the perspective of Business Ecosystem, taking Company Z as a case study, and understand the relationship between the critical successful factors of the business model in the interior design and the external environment of Business Ecosystem. Company Z, which had been run in the interior design industry for almost forty years, will be analyzed as a case study through the 9 factors of the business model. Finally, the correlation between Business Ecosystem and the changes of the business model will be fully integrated and demonstrated. The interior design industry in Taiwan had been well developed. However, most interior designers, obstructed by environmental and social factors ran business by themselves, and thus they were unable to handle large house projects due to small business size. Comparing with the foreign professional interior design companies, there were very few Taiwanese ones glowing on the international stage. In the dissertation, the entrepreneurs of famous interior design companies were interviewed, with open-ended questionnaire composed and edited by myself, and invited to propose business model maps. Meanwhile, their absolute correlations between successful business models and management capabilities were explored as well. The whole map of the business model will be derived through the nine successful factors overlapped, defined as critical partner, critical activity, value proposition, critical resource, customer relationship, channel, target customer and benefit stream. The research will contribute to groom succeeding generation with enterprise management suggestions, as decision references, in the interior design industry. Entrepreneurs shall specially pay attention to changes between the social environment and customers leading to management crises. The interior design industry could be changed, in the perspective of Business Ecosystem, for a long-term competence strength in various evolution stages.
