Summary:碩士 === 慈濟大學 === 教育研究所 === 104 === The purpose of this research aimed to investigate the effects of school-funding policies to aboriginal students from Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology. There are four research purposes: 1.To understood the process of how the school staff implemented the school-funding system. 2.To Understood how the students received the information of school-funding system and discussed on factors affecting their selections of studying. 3.To explore the school life of state financed students. 4.To discuss the reactions and feedbacks from school funded students and school staffs. The research methods were using qualitative methods and using interview as the research tool. The research subjects were 3 of my colleagues, and 13 school funded students in Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology. The results of this research as follows: 1.The school staff implemented the school-funding system, play the roles to communicate, give messages, accompany, care and handle activities. 2.There are three ways how students received the information of school-funding system, including the message of media, school teacher's and mentor's recommendations, and when they are enrolled. About the reasons affecting the willingness of studying, mostly coming from financial weakness, future career developing requirements, and the popularity of the school. 3.About the school life of school funded students, the school to help students finish their study positively, school will provide them tuition and miscellaneous fees, including food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, intern fees, and certification counseling fees. Studying and living with none-aboriginal students, they have many opportunities to know each other. However, they need to strength their mutual understanding and interactions. 4.The reactions and feedbacks from school funded students and school staffs, the effects of school-funding system has earned positive recognition from school staff and school funded students, whereas due to the manpower deficit and some implementation issues, there is still room for improvement. According to conclusion, the researcher provides some suggestions to the practice of school-funding system and related persons for future references.
