Summary:碩士 === 大仁科技大學 === 休閒事業管理研究所 === 104 === The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between coach’s paternalistic leadership behaviors and training satisfaction perceived by junior high school’s basketball players in the south area quarterfinals.Methodology: questionnaire survey, entitled as “A chart to study on perceived coach leadership behavior and training satisfaction of basketball players in junior high school”, with 456 copies distributed to those players participating the National Junior-High Basketball League, the returned survey sheets totaled at 388 effective questionnaires and 85.08%. SPSS for Windows 12.0 is used to analyze initial data retrieved. Other statistics tools used later in comparison include: descriptive analysis, Independent Samples T-Test, one-way ANOVA, repeated measures, Scheffé's method and Pearson Product-Moment correlation.. Key findings from this study are as follows: 1. Player’s perceiving coach’s leadership, ranked in order, are through: (1) training and coaching, (2) caring and positive feedback, (3) democratic behavior. Player’s perceiving training satisfaction, ranked in order, are through: (1) coach instructions, (2) group affiliation, (3) personal achievement. 2. Player’s perceiving coach’s leadership on training and coaching is significant difference for “training days of a week”; “the best result during 3 years” was observed; on caring and positive feedback is significant difference for “different gender”,“ training days of a week”; “the best result during 3 years” was observed; on democratic behavior is significant difference for“different gender” and “ training days of a week” was observed. 3. Player’s perceiving training satisfaction on coach instructions is significant difference for“different gender”,“ training days of a week”; “the best result during 3 years” was observed; on group affiliation is significant difference for“different gender”, “different grade” ; “ training days of a week” was observed; on personal achievement is significant difference for“different gender”, “different grade” was observed. 4. As for coach’s leadership behavior and training satisfaction factor,they were found between medium relevancies. The better the player’s perceiving coach’s leadership behavior , the higher they are to training satisfaction.
