Description
Summary:碩士 === 南臺科技大學 === 機械工程系 === 104 === This thesis studies natural frequencies and mode shapes of bicycle frame, frame with parts gradually and the whole bike. Using SoildWorks to draw frame and put into finite element software ANSYS/Workbench, we obtain the natural frequencies and mode shapes of bicycle frame. Then comparing the results from experiment modal analysis, we revise the finite element modal until both are closed. Using the equivalent point mass model to simulate front and rear wheels, chainrings and cassette, we build the whole bicycle model by adding fork, handbar, wheels, seat post, chainrings and cassette to the frame. The natural frequencies and mode shapes are obtained. We change parameters of the bicycle such as head angle, seat angle, density and thickness of the tube to observe the change of natural frequencies. Keywords: bicycle frame, finite element, experiment modal analysis, mode shape, equivalent point mass model
