Summary: | 碩士 === 南臺科技大學 === 企業管理系 === 104 === The objective of this study is to examine the correlations between the positive emotions of employment service staff and the degree of optimism of persons with disabilities, who were users of the supported and sheltered employment services provided by the Labor Affairs Bureau of Tainan City Government at the time of the study. This study aimed to investigate whether the positive emotions of employment service staff had significant influences on the degree of optimism of the service users. In addition to literature survey, data were collected using a questionnaire and convenience sampling. A total of 148 valid copies were received, accounting for an effective response rate of 84.57%. The data collected were analyzed with SPSS 18.0 and methods including confidence analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, relative analysis and regression analysis to generate findings to validate the conceptual framework of this study, to further analyze the major influences, and to establish relational patterns between the various aspects.
The results show that:(1) The specialists’ positive emotions had significant, positive effects on the disabled’s emotional susceptibility;(2) The specialists’ positive effects on the disabled’s optimistic inclination;(3) The specialists’ positive emotions had significant, positive effects on the disabled’s optimistic beliefs;(4) The specialists’ positive emotions had significant, positive effects on the disabled’s optimistic influence;(5) The disabled’s positive emotional susceptibility did not have significant mediating effects between the specialists’ positive emotions and the disabled’s optimistic inclination;(6) Positive emotional susceptibility supporting the disabled had significant mediating effects between the specialists’ positive emotions and the disabled’s optimistic beliefs; and(7) The disabled’s positive emotional susceptibility had partial mediating effects between the specialists’ positive emotions and the disabled’s optimistic influence.
The results of the study validate the significant effects of the specialists’ positive emotions on the disabled’s degree of optimism, and serve as a reference for relevant governmental departments.
