Description
Summary:碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 應用設計研究所 === 104 === Pop Art has been the most representative and innovative art style in the 20th century. Emerged in the 1950s in Britain and thriving in the 1960s in New York, Pop Art developed as a result of psychological dissatisfaction of vanity, self-abandon, and critique, and has been adopted as an artistic language. In addition to its impacts on revolutionizing the arts circle at that time, Pop Art has influenced diverse fields nowadays, such as commercial design or fashion design. The essence of “popularization” is based on daily life, taking daily matters to the field of art, returning to the reality and facing our daily lives. Therefore, the current study aimed to explore the context of Pop Art in (1) deconstructing the works of five iconic artists (David Hockeny, Richard Hamilton, Roy Lichtenstenin, Andy Warhol, and Yayoi Kusama) and (2) creating six makeup themes based on reconstruction and extraction. Three aspects, including content, creation process, and material utilization, were adopted to analyze the given creations and interpretations. With E-book of the “mobile media” (a modern communication tool) used to integrate interactive effects and to showcase the makeup creations of the current study, diverse platform sharing diversifies the visual browsing patterns and increases the joy of interactive participation among readers.
