Summary: | 碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 經營管理研究所 === 104 === The purpose of this study was to explore the influence of work stress on job satisfaction of the resource room program teachers at elementary schools, and how organizational communication shows mediator effect on work stress and job satisfaction. The subjects were resource room program teachers from elementary schools in Kaohsiung County. Totally 396 questionnaires were distributed with 338 valid returns (85% of return rate). Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and regression analysis were adopted to test the hypotheses in this research.
Based on the results of statistical analysis, conclusions were derived as follows: First, there existed a significant negative relationship between organizational communication and work stress. Second, there existed a significant negative relationship between work stress and job satisfaction. Third, there existed a significant positive relationship between organizational communication and job satisfaction. Forth, organizational communication shows a significant mediator effect on work stress and job satisfaction. Based on the conclusions, the researcher believes by enhancing organizational communication, job stress can be reduced which leads to a higher job satisfaction. Suggestions are offered to the education authority, center of teacher education, schools and teachers for future improvement on resource programs as well as a reference for further studies in the field.
