A Study on Leisure Satisfaction of Senior High School Teachers in Kaohsiung City

碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 經營管理研究所 === 104 === Due to the impact of the 12-year compulsory education program, senior high school teachers are facing pressure to student discipline problems and declining birthrate since 2014. Finding good activities to make one self relax and relief during two-day weekends, the winter and summer vacation has become the urge demand for teachers. Based on related documents to develop theories and research frame and design research tools, the study surveys 410 senior high school teachers in Kaohsiung to obtain 400 effective questionnaires which have been analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent-samples t-test, one-way ANOVA, and then the predictability, mediation and interference effects of every factor has been examined by multiple regression. According to data analysis results, the conclusions are as follows: 1.Senior high school teachers can be more involved in outdoor leisure activities such as tourism, hiking or camping to enhance the leisure satisfaction of "educational", "social " and " physiological" aspects. 2.Teachers can relax and ease the physical and mental stress by participating in the leisure activities. They can pay more attention to physical health, self-affirmation and learn more about the local culture through the leisure activities. 3.Engagement in leisure activities can enhance the physical and mental satisfactions, enjoyment of life, improve relationship with friends and interpersonal skills .
