The subjects of this study are the elementary music teachers of the third to sixth grades. The questionnaire used in this study is constructed for the research and tested for validity and reliability. The questionnaire was delivered to 251 music teachers and 237 questionnaires were returned. The data was analyzed using the following statistic methods: descriptive statistics, Chi-square, One-way ANOVA, and regression models. Based on the results, this research finds that: (1) Most of the music teachers are able to search for some specific resources on the Internet, and have the ability to apply Internet-assisted methods in music teaching. However, their ability to develop music education materials involving information technology is limited and needs to be improved. (2) Most of the music teachers agree with the concept of incorporating Internet and information technology into music teaching activities and acquire teaching information through the Internet. (3) Most of the music teachers discover adaptable lesson plans by going on the Internet or using multimedia teaching materials designed by general publishers. However, they may not be able to work with students through the Internet, and they are not able to design music related websites. (4) The support of school administration, and the gender, the ages and the positions of teachers will positively affect teachers’ information literacy. (5) The support of school administration, school’s equipment, and teachers’ positions will positively affect teachers’ attitude toward information literacy. (6) The regions and the equipment of schools, teachers’ positions, and music teachers’ seniority will positively affect teachers on using teaching resources found on the internet. Based on the major findings, suggestions are proposed as reference of educational institutions, school’s administration, music teachers and future researchers who are interested in doing follow-up researches. 蕭銘雄 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 74 zh-TW
