Summary: | 碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 兒童與家庭服務系碩士班 === 104 === This main purpose of this research is to discover the possibility of teaching
multicultural music with the music class which is in the art and humanity learning field
in elementary school. This research used experimental research method. The research
used 110 fifth-grade students who study in an elementary school in Kaohsiung as study
objects. Researcher designs multicultural music teaching courses which have 10 classes
in total and last for 10 weeks. And use the music from Russia, Japan, Scotland, Bunun
tribe, and Hengchun as the teaching material. Also, pass the concept of multicultural
music by the teaching of mode, rhythm, timbre, form, and genre admire. By drawing up
the teaching strategies of multicultural music and executing the teaching plans,
researcher assessments the students’ learning situation in the aspect of musical elements
and musical genre to understand the efficiency of this teaching design. The finding and
result of this research, gained the conclusion below:
Firstly, multicultural musical teaching material could improve students’
comprehension of mode, rhythm, timbre, and form. Secondly, multicultural musical
teaching could improve students’ knowledge about different musical genre. Thirdly,
multicultural music teaching enhanced students’ thinking path and ability of using
music. Fourthly, with multicultural music teaching in the Art and Humanity Learning
field in fifth grade of elementary school, students have nice “music-learning”
efficiency.
At last, the researcher gave some suggestions for the teachers who teach music at
primary school.
