You can’t perform precision machining without clamping properly. Use beveled wedge to clamp the workpiece in the vise can achieve the goal of precise clamping. In addition to faster loading and unloading in the vise, beveled wedges can reliably make the bottom of the workpiece attached to the parallel blocks underneath. This study will use five-axis machining center to process beveled wedges of various angles and explore their holding status. Hoping this study can enhance the accuracy and stability of clamping.
