Summary:碩士 === 世新大學 === 口語傳播學研究所 === 104 === The purpose of the study is to explore the factors of initiative-talking in Chinese class for junior high school students, and then figure out the present circumstances and the relation between the variables of students' background、personal、teachers and learning environments. The method to carry out this study was using a questionnaire. The participants in the study were students in New Taipei Municipal Banqiao Junior High School. Use convenience sampling approach. A total of 334 questionnaires were recovered, 317 copies were valid, effective sample recovering was 94.91%.The major research tool is questionnaire “junior high school students' talking behaviors in class” amended by investigator. The statistic methods data processing adopted including descriptive statistics、reliability analysis、sample test for independence、one-way analysis of variance、Pearson product-moment correlation、Chi-square test、Cochran's Q test and regression analysis. After statistically analyzing the valid data; conclusions are summarized as following: 1.The average score of “support and feedback” is the highest and “initiative-talking” is the lowest. 2.Student background variables have significant differences on initiative-talking in class.8th Grade students, male students, having confidence on speaking ability, good school grades and having experiences participating competitions or activities have more initiative-talking in class. 3.There is positive correlation between every research aspects and initiative-talking in class. 4.Attitude、Oral expression and the limit of the time have significant effect on initiative-talking in class. 5.The students in each class are not actively talking at Mandarin courses. 8th Grade students talk the most frequently in class. As for genders, male students talk more frequently than female students.The highest proportion of ways of talking is drawing lots. 6.The type of questions junior high school students ask the most is knowledge, and open questions are the type high school students are more willing to answer. 7.The oral expression abilities that high school students want to improve are in-depth thinking, getting key points, and the use of comprehensive words. 8.The motivation that students think can promote Initiative-talking in class are getting extra points and easy questions to answer.
