The problem of elder has become a serious. As time change, children don not live with their parents when they have another family member, after that we have to worry about aging become solitary elderly residen. Elder people easy to get sick when they felt lonely, such as miserable. Based on this circumstance, government encourage elder people to take part in leisure activities by unit of community. A primary study about elderly resident who lives without children or relationship both over 65 years old and living in Shenkeng District. The researcher is hoping to improve elderly to participatet in leisure activities and overcome leisure constraints then provide better arrangement for community service. According to observation and in-depth interview with elders and volunteers who joined second times of leisure activities. The result of study, researcher found physiological and mental factors were influenced elder participate leisure activites. Especially, elder people who had high level education or high level position of business in the past. On the other hand, volunteer has warmed every aging heart, because of they always take care of them with patient and enthusiastic. Therefore, the volunteers are very important to elder population in the community. Howeve, we still need government to support that lack of volunteer in community. Fist of all, to improve elder to join leisure activities and overcome physiological of constraints not only volunteer in charge of it, but also government responsibility.
