碩士 === 世新大學 === 新聞學系 === 104 === 　　In an era of information explosion, lots of information were generated in various fields every minute. Those massive, complex information with rapid growth are called as ’’Big Data’’. It is an extremely popular new term in technology, business, and academic areas recent years. With the high-speed development of network technology, businesses are aware of the opportunities and potential innovation behind the Big Data, include journalism which is discussed in the study. How to abstract meaningful information from a large data then analysis and apply efficiently is the core issue of current Big Data-related research. 　　The purpose of the study was to analyze the change of news production from traditional to digital by studying the history of Big Data background and the examples of Big Data used in journalism. Through in-depth interviewing of qualitative research method, the researcher interviews the journalists or academic community related to Data Journalism, learning about the impact of Big Data on domestic news production and journalists. The results found that the development of Big Data not only makes the data easier to interpret than past, but also gives news much different narrative way. However, because of human resources, time, tools, data and other factors, the development of domestic Data Journalism is hard to disseminate. With discussions about the development of domestic Data Journalism and aggregated of recommendations from respondents, researcher hope that the study can feedback for the journalism and education.
