In addition, the differences of personal background variables in each of the research variables were analyzed. Literature review is used as the research method of this study, and meat inspectors are the subjects of questionnaire survey. A total of 258 questionnaires were distributed, of which 200 questionnaires were returned. 200 questionnaires were valid, which contributes to 77.52% of return rate. The questionnaire data were analyzed using the Chinese version of a statistical analysis software SPSS12.0. The following outlines the findings of the study: 1)The test samples of personal background variables, including marriage, age and number of children, show significant differences towards awareness of job characteristics. Others, including gender, level of education, work location, years of service and job title, show insignificant differences towards awareness of job characteristics. 2)The test samples of personal background variables, including marriage and age, show significant differences towards awareness of employees’ quality of working life. Other background variables, including gender, number of children, level of education, work location, and years of service, show insignificant differences towards awareness of employees’ quality of working life. 3)The results of multiple stepwise regression analysis show that there is a significant level of influence of the test samples’ awareness of job characteristics towards quality of working life. Moreover, it has a very good predictive power. Therefore, based on the research findings described above, it is recommended that emphasis could be placed on employees’ professional skills and human resource training to enhance the positive awareness of working life quality. This could be done through regular training, establishment of promotion systems, and improvement of work environments. Secondly, job characteristics have significant influence on employees’ quality of working life. Specifically, the level of feedback of work and the level of diversity of skills involved have predictive power towards employees’ quality of working life. 【Keywords】 Job characteristics, Employees’ quality of working life HUANG, JONG H. 黃榮護 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 99 zh-TW |

Abstract
This study aims to explore the impact of job characteristics on employees’ quality of working life. The following outlines the findings of the study:
1)The test samples of personal background variables, including marriage, age and number of children, show significant differences towards awareness of job characteristics.
