However, the qualities of the project were lower than expected or even failure. There are many reasons result in the failures, e.g. either goal or scope is unknowing, project plan is not comprehensive enough, lack of time to complete the assignment, the uneven distribution of human resources, poor communication, team members have no team spirit. In this thesis, my researching is to study the following topics from the perspective of project management. “In systems integration and implement, which stage will the failure of project management happen in?”“What failure factors may cause the project fail?” By understanding the key factors of failure, we could reduce the chances of project failure. In the first round questionnaire, there are 39 failure factors identified. By the Delphi method, the 39 factors could be reduced to 10 key failure factors. In the second round questionnaire, the failure factors were checked again with Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), which be given the level of the hierarchy to identify the key failure factors. At the end of this thesis, three continuation of representations for the failure prevention were proposed, they are “The ability of project manager shall be confirmed, including effective management skills and communication skills”, “The stakeholders and involved parties of the project shall be confirmed before the project commence”, and “It has to verify the completeness of the project demands”.
