Summary:碩士 === 東吳大學 === 音樂學系 === 104 === Chopin (Frederic Francois Chopin, 1810-1849), Poet of the piano, creating a new musical form called” the Scherzo”. Among many musicians in Romantic Music Period, Chopin’s creations are quite unique. His music works retain both traditional and brand new skills. Many of his music works present an edgy and romantic style, which makes his music highly valued by descendants. This paper takes "Poet of the piano, Chopin's Scherzo No.1 in b minor” as the theme of the study. First, the content includes Chopin's life and growing background. Using Chopin’s background to discuss his creation style and characteristics. Second, applying the understanding of the origin and evolution of the scherzo into Chopin's Scherzo (including the composer’s motive, background, characters) and the common features of four Scherzos. Using the era background to analyze the tonality and song structure when discussing the annotated way of Chopin’s “Scherzo No.1 in b minor ”. Through all these studies, the author shares the ideas of “how to annotate this song” to the readers, and also share the solutions and thoughts when facing the difficulties in playing this song.
