Summary:碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 社會工作與兒童少年福利學系 === 104 === The purpose of the qualitative study is to present the process in which a senior high school girl went through and recovered from psychological trauma closely related to her mother, who entered into shotgun marriage and was put under considerable stress from gender stereotype reinforced by traditional society. After witnessing her mother’s self-injury, the subject did not receive proper counseling. Repressive fear, inscrutable emotions and parental marriage breakdown all resulted in her post-traumatic stress reaction. She did not accept and understand what had happened to her until internal protective factors and external protective factors came into play. From then on, she gradually rebuilt her self-esteem and confidence, being the master of her own life. Furthermore, the subject’s life was reconstructed because the interview substantially enhanced her understanding of what she had experienced. An eighteen-year-old girl, she will live a new life, plan for the future, and write a new life story.
