Summary: | 碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 企業管理學系 === 104 === The main idea of this study is to discuss about the relationship among negative gossip, reputation, and cooperative intention. Moreover, it also explores that whether trust will cause the interference of the relationship among negative gossip, reputation, and cooperative intention or not. According to the previous literatures, the researcher set up the empirical structure and proposed three hypotheses. Also, to conduct this study, the pretest-posttest control group design which was based on the true experimental design used to separate the information of gossip into the two contexts: Positive Gossip and Negative Gossip. The subjects of this study included 995 university students, and they were divided into two contexts randomly to fulfill the tasks about the gossip information which were assigned by the researcher. After the participants finished the tasks, they had to fill in the questionnaire for the researcher to collect the variable data. Furthermore, the data would be used Verification Experiment to examine that whether the manipulated variable is successful or not, and it would be used to prove that whether the assumptions were valid. After that, the research findings indicates that:
(1)If the degree complement in negative gossip is higher, the negative influence of the evaluation of individual reputation to the protagonist in gossip information will be higher.
(2)If the evaluation of individual reputation is lower, the wiliness of others to cooperate with the protagonist in gossip information will be lower.
(3)If the degree of trust among people is higher, the negative influence of the evaluation of individual reputation to the protagonist in gossip information will be lower.
