In addition, Human-computer interaction is one of issues in the robotics research. In this study, we studied the interaction between the robot and the environment.
It is said that Yang Luchan who is Yang styles Taijiquan’s founder can make a bird always stays on his hand. When the bird tried to fly, he sensed the move and dropped his hand to make it stay. In this paper, we design a mechatronic system to perform Yang’s skill. The system includes sensing and actuating mechanisms. Almost all small birds jump before flying. When birds press on floor, the system makes the platform drop down, the bird can’t obtain reaction to jump and fly.
We also used the mechatronic system to study whether or not humans can do this skill. Finally, we will correlate the experiment result the condition that a man should achieve to perform the skill.
