Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 管理學院MBA === 104 === In the past 10 years, Crowdfunding have risen with the development of Internet and became a new way of fundraising. It not only provided funding, consumer reaction and effect of marketing. Most of existing research only care about key success factor to crowdfunding project, but rarely focus on delay delivery and failure projects. There is hidden risk to the backers and challenge to the project team, so this research uses the public information and wants to investigate the factors which could affect whether the product is delivered on time or not, and also provides the reference to the backers. This research collects secondary data and summarizes the results, the procedure is as follows: first, sort the projects by money and choose rank 100 and collect the projects’ information; second, collect the detail information from different public website, e.g., Kickstarter, Facebook and Twitter, and analyze descriptive statistics from view point of Project Management; third, use Binary Logistic Regression to analyze the result which could affect the product is delivered on time or not. The result of this research found that some reports indicate the factors such as amount of raising money, amount of people and raising period would indirect affect the delivery date, but after analysis of this research we found that there is no significant effect on it. And the projects have beta test or not before the end of crowdfunding indeed have significant effect on it. Through this research, if the beta test could be completed before the end of crowdfunding, the rate of delivery on time is much higher than the beta test after the end of crowdfunding.
