Physicians must depend on their own experience to determine the location, orientation and depth of an implant by combining cone beam computed tomography with plaster models. During this process tomography data is generated by medical equipment used to scan the patients’ internal alveolar bone of the gingival. Additionally, a plaster model is made of the patients’ teeth and gingival. The purpose of this thesis is to enhance the accuracy of implant surgery and reduce the preparation time. In this thesis, we tried to scan the plaster model by laser scanner, producing a three-dimensional model of the plaster mold. We then combined the cone beam computed tomography with a model of teeth using 3D CAD software. According to a doctor from Soreal Dental Clinic with extensive clinical experience, our system determines the implant’s location, orientation and depth by digital locator in an appropriate two-dimensional section. Finally, we designed a 3D CAD model of the implant surgery guide in order to provide a reference for manufacturing. The method of digital implant surgery developed in this thesis can aid junior doctors to comprehend the shape of the teeth and the interior of alveolar bone simultaneously, and safely determine the right location of the implant. none 林清安 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 72 zh-TW |
