| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 書畫藝術學系 === 104 === This study performs the art of painting by forms of landscape, flowers-and-birds, beasts, figure painting, and emphasizes the form of enlightenment, which played an important role in art history. The author uses artistic creation to express his feeling and the thinking of enlightenment of spirit world and miracles. The author chooses the content of “The Encomium of Bliss and Wisdom” as the central idea, and transforms his ideas into line symbols in ink wash painting. The author attempts to follow the great Chinese painter, Fu Baoshi, who is famous for expressing musical and poetry conception through paintings.
The elegant words in “The Encomium of Bliss and Wisdom” are meaningful and touching, conveying the deeply sincere admiration to Buddha. In the chapter1 and 2, the author studies to understand different figures and subjects in lives and society, trying to perform the infinity of lives that transcend the boundary of time and space by using simple patterns as main core, combining colors arts, Dunhuang figures and other skills to perform the painting.
During the process, the author brings forth the experimental idea, which is –to combine musical melody with line symbols. In terms of painting, line symbols extend people’s perception of spirit world and art, like melody brings people the feeling of extension. Therefore, the author attempts to focus on the accomplishments of line symbols in chapter3, to enrich the content of art creation, and to build the author’s own style. The author also studies Buddhism for a long time, thus the author chooses “The Encomium of Bliss and Wisdom” as main subject, trying to combine his philosophical thinking and art creation together, wish to make a breakthrough in personal studying.
