| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 多媒體動畫藝術學系新媒體藝術碩士班 === 104 === The research for this thesis followed the same method as a journey of self-exploration. Some creations were inspired from my own body. At the beginning of the creation process, the body served as the main medium for understanding my inner state. Starting with the manifestation section closest to me, I gradually analyzed my self-consciousness and who “I” am.
The “One & One Dialogue in Silence”series of creations draws on the Artist’s life experiences and feelings in recent years. By exploring the author’s external patterns and perception that caters to other people, the works gradually delve into the accounts of private life and memories of living spaces. Through video art, video installation, space, sound, text, and other such methods, pieces, memories, and feelings of life are reconstructed and rearranged through creating and manifesting the sequential path of self-exploration in story form. The self is presented through bodies, videos, and installations. For viewers, this serves as another redirected form of an introduction about “王妤安”. This thesis also discusses the discovery of the transformation in body patterns during the creative process. The initial body pattern was converted into an existing, but no longer visible body. This concept is used to explore the appearances of the body as well as the critical point where the body disappears and yet does not cease to exist.
