Accessing the tradditional cloud data cen-ters to obtain service will lead to severely exacerbate bandwidth load in mobile operator core networks, and thus my thesis proposes to adopt the F-RAN sys-tem and the VM replication mechanism to avoid the bottleneck of backhaul network between base stations or cells and minimize the overall backhaul net-work usage. In order to reflect the actual situation in the real-world, the power consumption is also considered into the VM placement problem. Firstly, the optimization problem is formulated to include the VM placement cost and transmission cost, and a priority-based breadth-first VM placement algorithm is proposed. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme can signif-icantly reduce the overall backhaul network cost compared with the previous work. 逄愛君 2016 學位論文 ; thesis 35 en_US
