Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 文化資源與休閒產業學系碩士班 === 104 === The countryside tourism has been studied and focused on impact and strategic management for several decades; however, few have been expanded to the “consensus within the specific countryside area for promoting tourism” issue, which is critical for developing countryside tourism. The aim of this study seeks to explore (1) the overview of industrial development, and (2) the feasibility of establishing tourism vision through ZMET technology in Jhutian, Pingtung.
A total of 10 residents were successfully interviewed for collecting and analyzing data through ZMET in this study. The results of this study showed that consensus within Jhutian is a critical success factor for promoting tourism; the ZMET is useful for understanding the residents’ vision on tourism development; and “welcome tourism”, “tourism attraction,” and “foreign tourists” are three main constructs on tourism vision of Jhutian. Accordingly, this study suggested (1). using these consensus and vision on Jhutian’s tourism development is important, and (2). more related fieldworks are recommended in the future research.
