Summary:碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 特殊教育學系碩士在職專班 === 103 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the materiality level recognition of professional competencies of the special education section chief at elementary school in Taoyuan City. The variables of chiefs with different background were also discussed. Survey research was conducted in this study. Excerpts a part of “Questionnaire of special education section chiefs in the materiality level recognition of professional competencies of compulsory education level school”were sent to 318 elementary school teachers by purposive sampling. The number of valid questionnaires were 262. The collected data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test and one way ANOVA. The findings are as follows: 1. The degree in the materiality level recognition of professional competencies was rated high level by elementary school teachers in Taoyuan City. 2. In the materiality level recognition of professional competencies at special education section chiefs in elementary school, there were significant differences between the total number of classes in school. 3. In the materiality level recognition of professional competencies at special education section chiefs in elementary school, there were significant differences among the categories, ages and education level of teachers.
