碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 教育學系(所) === 104 === This research aims to understand the management of the recorder teams on offshore islands and to examine the status quo, the current difficulties and the problem-solving strategies of three offshore elementary schools. The instructors of the recorder teams of three elementary schools in Penghu County are the target objects of study and the method of semi-structured interview is adopted to glean the data required for this research. Scholarly papers are also included for the analysis and comparison of the data. The research shows that the recorder teams of these three offshore elementary schools keep prosperous and that all of them represent schools to join competitions every year. Moreover, all instructors are highly enthusiastic. Besides, The research also shows the main managing difficulties of recorder teams: the decline of the number of students and the excess of the number of clubs. Due to the decrease of the number of students, teachers have to make proper adjustments such as changing the way to recruit new members for the club or including recorder course to take up one of the alternative learning periods so that all students have opportunities to learn recorders. At last, a few suggestions are offered based on the conclusion mentioned above for further references.
