Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺中科技大學 === 流通管理系碩士班 === 104 === Apace with economic and social development, the standard of living of the people in Taiwan has increased; people subsequently demand for not only increasingly high standards for quality of life but also well-being at work. Studies have indicated that employee well-being is an abstract concept encompassing various dimensions such work, life, and psychological dimensions, and substantially affects various aspects of an employee such as job performance and intention to stay. This study adopted quality management concepts to measure and monitor employee well-being, and developed three indicators that respectively measure well-being at work, well-being in daily life, and psychological well-being, which together form a comprehensive indicator for employee well-being. The comprehensive indicator presents employees’ perceived well-being in percentage. To enhance the applicability of the proposed indicator, this study proposed using employee well-being analytical diagrams. By generating analytical diagrams and analyzing the position of the indicator values in the diagram, the analytical diagrams can assist enterprises in determining whether their employees’ well-being in the work, daily living, and psychological dimensions achieved the enterprises’ target levels. This study can serve as a reference for such enterprises for improving overall employee well-being and setting related policies. The study also provides suggestions to the managers and future researchers.
