Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北大學 === 資訊工程學系 === 104 === Many digital image formats used in our daily life, the JPEG is the most popular. Since its popularity, the reversible data hiding (RDH) in JPEG file becomes more important nowadays. Lots of schemes is proposed for RDH in JPEG file but a few talk about the balance between embedding capacity and the improper file size after process. This work studies how to construct a RDH scheme for JPEG image file with a good balance between embedding capacity and the JPEG file size. In this thesis, We propose a novel high-capacity reversible data hiding method for JPEG-compressed images. This method is using histogram shifting and embedding data into consecutive zero part of run-length vector. We compare to the other existing RDH method in JPEG images, the experimental results demonstrate that by using the proposed method, we can easily obtain better embedding capacity with proper file size and reasonable image quality.
